Tyrell Nelson
Tyrell Nelson is 23 years old and has been playing basketball since the young age of six (6). He has played travel ball, AAU, as well as basketball for his middle school, high school and college teams. Tyrell spent his high schools years at two different schools, Olympic High and then private school, Metrolina Christian Academy. Because of his transfer, Tyrell did not receive a college scholarship until the summer before his senior year of high school. By the end of that summer, Tyrell had received multiple scholarships from several Division 1 schools. He went on to play at Gardner-Webb University for four (4) years and is currently the second All-Time Leading Scorer in the school's history. Tyrell graduated with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. His journey now continues at the professional level as he plays overseas in Finland.
