Dr. Mark Holthouse
Dr. Holthouse has been practicing Family Medicine in the area for over 25 years. Beginning in 2006, he added specialty board certification in the fields of Integrative and Functional Medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine, American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. He became the first Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner in the greater Sacramento area in 2013 and has been on the teaching faculty for the Institute for Functional Medicine since that time, training practitioners at a national level in advanced hormone replacement therapeutics. Dr. Holthouse also speaks to cardiologists and other physicians on the use of advanced cardiovascular risk markers for Cleveland Heart Labs which is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
