Phil Johnston is a professional wildlife tracker and works as the Mountain Lion Biologist for the Hoopa Valley Tribe in Humboldt County, California where he studies interspecific ecological relationships and interactions between black bears, deer and mountain lions, fishers, bobcats and consequences of toxin releases from illegal trespass marijuana cultivation in the Klamath-Trinity bioregion. He is certified as a Track and Sign Specialist and Tracker IV by Cybertracker Conservation North America, and teaches tracking workshops throughout Northern California Phil is a passionate naturalist, tracker and outdoor educator working to connect people to the beauty of wild places and inspire adults and kids to get outside and fight for conservation and sustainable living..
