Edward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D., is a child and adult psychiatrist, NY Times bestselling author, world-renowned speaker and leading authority in the field of ADHD. He is a host of Distraction, a podcast for the crazybusy. He was a faculty member at Harvard Medical School from 1983 to 2004, graduated from Harvard College and Tulane Medical School, and is the founder of The Hallowell Centers in Boston MetroWest, New York City, San Francisco and Seattle. He has authored twenty books on various psychological topics, including ADHD, parenting worry, and managing excessive busyness. Dr. Hallowell’s most recent book was his Memoir: Because I Come From A Crazy Family The Making Of A Psychiatrist.
