Kym Hampton
Kym Hampton is a professional athlete, model, motivational speaker, singer, and much more. She is graduate of ASU. Kym received her bachelor’s degree in theater but will go down in the university’s history book as one of the most decorated hoop player's to ever wear a Sun Devil jersey. To date, Hampton is the All-time leading scorer (2,361 pts) and All-time leading rebounder (1,415 rebs) male or female, in the school's history - a record that has stood for over 30 years. Prior to the start of the WNBA, Kym was a standout in various international leagues - Spain, Italy, France and Japan.During her 12 and a half year career abroad,Hampton earned several All-star honors and lead five of her teams to championship status. In 1997, Kym Hampton was the 4th pick in the WNBA's Elite Draft by the New York Liberty. Hampton scored the first two points in NY Liberty history and lead the team to the 1997 and 1999 WNBA finals. Ms. Hampton was the starting center for every game of her WNBA career.
