Gail Thomason

Gail Thomason is a seasoned executive working in the fields of nonprofit management and law for over 20 years. She has extensive experience guiding nonprofits and associations through strategic planning, program development and implementation, legal issues, and operations. Previously, Gail practiced law in the areas of commercial finance and health care quality and delivery. Gail is passionate about civic participation and education, serving in a variety of leadership positions for her local public schools and related nonprofit organizations. A native of Washington, DC turned Chicagoan for 30 years, Gail and her husband moved to Wellington, New Zealand in 2018. She is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Michigan Law School and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. She has two daughters, one at university in the Unites States, one finishing high school in New Zealand.
