Edward Canney
Edward Canney, CEO and Founder of IGERENCIA, has been at the analytics and business intelligence arena for 20 years as a consultant, architect and team lead. Now he is involved in different initiatives based on artificial intelligence to change the way people consume and understand data. Edward achieved his undergraduate studies in Colombia, South America as an industrial engineer and his graduate studies in Engineering Management at Syracuse University. His studies in Engineering Management brought him the need to find a better way to create insights from the supply chain management (SCM) data. SCM data is non-centralized, is complex involving multiple processes and finally is needed almost on real time. That need was the key driver to found IGERENCIA right back to Colombia. Today conversational artificial intelligence technologies have been improving exponentially allowing people to write short sentences over a text chat and the answer is received in real time.
