Paul Irving
Paul Irving, chairman of the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging, and Encore.org, and distinguished scholar in residence at the USC Davis School of Gerontology, is also director of East West Bancorp, Inc. and Pharos Capital BDC, Inc. Paul serves on advisory boards at Stanford, USC, the Global Coalition on Aging, and WorkingNation. He helped found the Purposeful Aging Los Angeles Steering Committee, a member of the National Academy of Medicine Global Commission for Healthy Longevity, and was a participant in the 2015 White House Conference on Aging. He was a past president of the Milken Institute, an advanced leadership fellow at Harvard, and chairman and CEO of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, a law and consulting firm. He’s a speaker, author and contributor to the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Forbes. Awards include the Janet L. Witkin Humanitarian Award, the Stanford Life Journey Inspiration Award, and the Loyola Law School Board of Governors Award.
