Dan Hawkins
Dan Hawkins studied mechanical engineering at LMU. He worked a few years for Carroll Shelby before going into the aerospace industry. Dan was let go from Raytheon in 2013 and decided to pursue his dream of having his own business. He knew he wanted to do something that was fun and that he was passionate about. He has always loved fitness and became passionate about nutrition after dealing with some health issues of his own. Knowing first-hand how much of a struggle it can be to stay healthy while having a desk job and realizing how much nutrition affects our health, Dan knew he needed to share his knowledge and passion with others who were struggling to be healthy. After a broad search, Dan decided to go with the 9Round concept, and he opened his location in Torrance, CA in August of 2014. In his spare time Dan enjoys gardening and beach volleyball. He has also recently become more active in his community, fundraising for local charities and participating in the chamber of commerce.
