Mark De Rijk
Mark de Rijk has been in cybersecurity for two decades now. Originally from The Netherlands he moved to the UK six years ago and lives just outside London in Surrey. Without any formal education beyond high school he entered the professional field at 19 having reverse-engineered the interview process to improve the organization’s recruiting results. Over the years he has worked for commercial and government organizations across Europe and the America’s doing cleared and non-cleared work. He has been driving his own business for the last 5 years and is currently focused on helping clients develop application security strategies and building a board advisory practice in order to help boardrooms gain better control over their organization’s cybersecurity posture. He is also passionate about giving back through mentoring and working to educate 1 million people so his vision of everyone understanding security can come to fruition.
