Charon King
A mother of four, Charon was suddenly and unexpectedly laid off from her call center supervisor position. While going through the job search, she came up with the idea to open a staffing agency specifically for those with criminal backgrounds. “Everyone deserves a second chance, but far too many men and women once released are unable to secure employment. The stigma of have been in jail, is often too hard to overcome.” With no money, no investors and most importantly no job all she had was faith and a dream. Charon started attending business seminars and meeting people alone. Her 1st customer did not pay their invoice and the business was on the brink of failure. In 2017, she found a partner who believed in her dream. The business started to move forward. To date Charon has found employment for over 200 individuals with criminal backgrounds. The employers are thrilled and her clients secure a job, pick up the pieces and start moving toward a productive life.
