Sydney Jensen
Sydney Jensen, a Georgia native, is a shining 9th grade English teacher at Lincoln High School in the center of America’s heartland – Lincoln, Nebraska. She also serves as a sought-after instructional coach, working with new and veteran teachers to provide transformative support and mentorship. In recognition of her extraordinary work in the classroom and within the educational community, Sydney was the 2019 Nebraska Teacher of the Year! She is a passionate advocate for increased mental and emotional wellness support for both students and teachers. In 2019, she shared an inspiring TED Talk that to date, has already received over 1.5 million views.
