Senator Will Haskell who was born in 1996 was elected in November 2018 to represent the 26th District of the State of CT. Prior to serving in the State Senate, Senator Haskell interned for the Democratic National Committee, analyzing state legislation and fighting for voting rights and also assisted the Community Tax Aid program in Washington D.C., working with low-income residents as they filed their taxes.Sen. Haskell graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown. As a student he helped launch the Free Speech Project, dedicated to monitoring and protecting freedom of expression.Sen. Haskell returned to his home town. He decided to run for office with the mission of drawing other recent graduates back to Connecticut. In CT he serves as the Senate Chairman of the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee, Sen.
