Michael Ryan
Michael Ryan is the author of the critically acclaimed book Make Your Career Go BOOM! Not Bust: Practical tips to succeed in an ever-changing world. Legendary business author Ken Blanchard calls the book “one of the best self-help books I have read.” Ryan is the founder of Ryan Media Consultants, a full-service communications and marketing company. Before that, he was a vice president at The Arizona Republic overseeing 18 community newspapers and their associated Web and mobile sites. Earlier he was managing editor at the Pensacola News Journal and assistant managing editor, news editor, and sports editor for newspapers in Rochester, NY. He also wrote a nationally syndicated sports television column for Gannett News Service and occasionally USA Today. Ryan earned his B.A. degree in journalism from St. Bonaventure University and his MBA with a focus in marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology.
