Felecia Pullen is a licensed social worker and doctoral candidate at Fordham University. She specializes in policy development around substance misuse, prevention, and recovery. Much of her focus is on the design and implementation of community-based initiatives. Her belief is that through multi-tiered approaches, we can reduce use, increase recovery and promote healthier communities. Felecia founded, and is President & CEO, of Let’s Talk SAFETY, Inc. This not-for-profit includes SAFE in Harlem, a teen-led coalition, and The PILLARS, Manhattan’s first State-funded Recovery Community & Outreach Center. Through the strength of partnerships (NYPD, The NYC Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene, CUNY Colleges, Fordham University, Harlem Hospital, Mt Sinai, & numerous political figures including The Manhattan Borough President and The Mayor of NYC) Felecia has been able to deliver strengths-based programs and services, FREE of charge, to ALL who walk through the doors
