Leo Ullman

Mr. Ullman, a member of the New York Bar, practiced law for some 35 years with three major international law firms, and ultimately founded his own firm, all in New York. While still practicing law, Mr. Ullman formed a real estate management company in 1978 to source and manage a large number of various U.S. real estate investments as a fiduciary for primarily private foreign investors. In 1998, Mr. Ullman, through a friendly tender offer, acquired control of a small real estate investment trust and started growing the Company with primarily supermarket-anchored shopping centers in mid-Atlantic and Northeast coastal states. In 2003, the Company, Cedar Realty Trust, had an initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange for approximately $178 million with Merrill Lynch as lead underwriter.? Under Ullman's guidance, Cedar grew from its $13.5 million beginnings to approximately $1.7 billion in assets in less than 5 years.Mr. Ullman served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
