Marcie Roth
Marcie Roth is Executive Director and CEO of the World Institute on Disability, one of the world’s first global disability-led organizations advancing the rights and opportunities of over 1.3 billion people with disabilities worldwide. Highly regarded for its global public policy leadership, WID is known for driving policy into action and operationalizing inclusion. Marcie joined WID in 2019, bringing her lifelong commitment to advancing the rights of people with disabilities and expanding disability leadership locally, nationally, and globally. Marcie has served in senior and executive leadership roles for national and global advocacy and public policy organizations since 1995, establishing and leading coalitions committed to disrupting exclusion by operationalizing accessibility and inclusion as an intersectional imperative for global social justice.
