Lucie Marlo

As child in Quebec City, Lucie Marlo won local art competitions. But growing up with health problems led Lucie to earn to a Ph.D. in Nutrition. Guided by her artist mother, Lucie opened and managed multidisciplinary health clinics in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To satisfy her quest for creative expression, Lucie sold the clinics, began painting and volunteered in health-related fundraisers. Her painting style is distinctive for its dynamic compositions and interplay of colors. She describes her painting process as a reflection on life; her recurring theme is maintaining optimism through life's trials and tribulations. Lucie’s work has been exhibited at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria BC. In the US, she has been the featured artist on the highly regarded art walk in Scottsdale, AZ. Her work is in corporate and private collections in Canada, the U.S., Europe and South Africa. Lucie is the author of Life Is Now: Claim Your Joy And Live It! www.marlostudios.com.
