Chai R. Feldblum

Chai R. Feldblum is a Partner and Director of Workplace Culture Consulting at Morgan Lewis, where she helps companies and organizations create safe, respectful, diverse and inclusive workplaces. Chai served as a commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) from 2010 to 2019. Prior to serving on the EEOC, Chai was a law professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where she established and ran a Federal Legislation Clinic. On behalf of several non-profit organizations over the course of almost two decades, Chai and her students worked to advance legislation in Congress and regulations by administrative agencies. During that time, Chai established and directed Workplace Flexibility 2010, a public policy effort to bring employer and employee groups together to advance workplace flexibility. Chai is a leader in both the disability and LGBT communities. She was the chief lawyer who drafted and negotiated the ADA in 1990 and the ADA Amendments Act in 2008.
