Vera Jimenez
Vera Jimenez is an award-winning Meteorologist at KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles, CA. She works on the newscast Monday through Friday for the 6, 10 and 11 pm news. Among several awards and recognitions, she was won 3 Emmys and 3 Golden Mics. She has worked on television for almost 20 years, all in Southern California, in addition to KTLA, she also worked at ABC and CBS. She and her husband were part owners of a restaurant for over 5 years, before selling it. After experiencing the challenging business climate in California, Vera decided to take her passion for health and fitness and switch from a brick and mortar to a click and order health and wellness business. Vera’s family moved to Southern California from Mexico when she was three years old. They settled in Garden Grove, California. She went to community college, then on to State Schools in California and Mississippi for her degree and certification. Vera is also a member of the Redondo Beach Rotary Club.
