James Ellman
James Ellman was born and raised in Boston where he earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts and an MBA from Harvard. A former field examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, he managed mutual funds for several years for Invesco and Merrill Lynch before becoming a portfolio manager for more than a decade at hedge funds Seacliff Capital and Ascend Capital. He lives near San Francisco, CA with his wife and sons.
