Dr. Justin Yopp
Justin M. Yopp, PhD, is a clinical psychologist at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a member of UNC’s Comprehensive Cancer Support Program, Dr. Yopp works with children, adolescents, and adults with cancer. Dr. Yopp co-founded the Widowed Parent Program, which includes support groups for parents who have lost a spouse or partner and are raising children on their own, a website resource for these parents (www.widowedparent.org), and research efforts to learn how to best support grieving families. He is the co-author of The Group: Seven Widowed Fathers Reimagine Life. Prior to joining the faculty at UNC, Dr. Yopp served as staff psychologist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
