My background if franchising in the food and service sector and more recently become involved with the hospitality industry. Started working with the Kantors at least 15 years ago. Currently I run the Encore Event Center and with all of the restrictions we focused on specific services that worked with available resources and current needs so we implemented an in person summer enrichment camp and next week have an in-person school alternative supporting distance learning curriculums. About 5 years ago when involved in a food delivery franchise, I partnered with a group to develop a text based communication and ordering system. Please see links below. With the event center growing we wanted to start offering community based events on the property so contacted the local Clairemont Chamber of Commerce. Joined up and it turned out that it had shrunk down to only 60 members and that in general they had been shrinking with business associations becoming more popular instead. So my goal became figuring out how to expand the chamber which in turn would help my business if successful.
