Senior VP Merchandise, Gimbel’s and Lazarus. President, CEO, and subsequently Board Chair of Younkers. Vice Chair of Proffitt’s (Herberger’s, Parisian, Carson’s and Saks). Board and Executive Committee member, National Retail Federation, Washington D.C. and Frederick Adkins, NYC. Sentry Insurance Board Member and Chair of Audit, HR and Governance Committees. While in Des Moines with Younkers, served on Governor’s Spending Reform Committee, was appointed Chair of the Education Sub-Task Force Committee and also Co-Founded the Iowa Group for Economic Development. Tom is currently Board Chair and CEO of TKG Properties/Visions West.
