Catrena Norris Carter

Catrena Norris Carter is a 30-year veteran of both the civil rights and women’s movements in America. She founded Women of Will, (WOW) a nonprofit women’s organization that trained hundreds of women on how to run for political office and was the National Coordinator of 2020’s Black Women’s March and Rally where for the first time black women, joined by the Divine Nine and Pan-Hellenic Council led the march across the Historic Edmond Pettus Bridge during the Bloody Sunday Reenactment, which led to the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Catrena was also an active participate in the Blackbelt ‘s “Vote or Die” movement that defeated accused sexual predator, Roy Moore and elected Doug Jones to the US Senate.
