Helio Fred Garcia
Helio Fred Garcia is president of the crisis management firm Logos Consulting Group and is on the adjunct faculties of New York University and Columbia University. His last book, The Agony of Decision: Mental Readiness and Leadership in a Crisis, was named One of the Best Crisis Management Books of All Time by BookAuthority. His prior book, The Power of Communication: Skills to Build Trust, Inspire Loyalty, and Lead Effectively, was named to the U.S. Marine Corps Commandant's Professional Reading List for five consecutive years. He is a senior fellow at the Institute of Corporate Communication at Communication University of China. His new book is Words on Fire: The Power of Incendiary Language and How to Confront It. He is a lecturer at the Defense Information School and at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
