Bill Burns
Bill has developed a wealth of experience serving with, and leading today’s most advanced national and international Healthcare organizations. Bill most recently served at the Chief Strategy Office of Hitachi’s Global Healthcare business through its eventual sale in December of 2019 to Fuji Film, Inc. Today Bill serves as the Vice President of Vertical Markets at Cohesity and is directly responsible for the oversight and coordination of all Health & Life Sciences industry related activities for the company. Over his 30-year career in Healthcare Bill has served as an executive advisor and vice-chairman on Healthcare data modernization with the Department of Health & Human Services (USA) to two presidential administrations. Bill also served as a founding committee member of the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) published by the Health Level Seven International (HL7) Healthcare standards organization.
