Christi McEvoy
Christi McEvoy tells himself the story that he is an open-minded and compassionate person. He grew up in Ireland, studied in Scotland and has lived in Switzerland for the past ten years, working as an elementary teacher. He believes that people learn best through their passions, which motivated him to start an Innovation and Open-Sourced Learning club, in which students could start their own businesses based on their interests, skills and talents. He was smart enough to marry a brilliant, American microbiologist. They enjoy board games, hiking and hunting for bargains in thrift shops. Christi is a keen improviser, guitarist, cook, forest school enthusiast and amateur psychologist. After attending one of my workshops on power and status, he now uses these concepts regularly in his personal and professional life, as well as sharing it with his students. Christi will be sharing his insights from years in and out of the classroom to help listeners better negotiate life’s many ups and downs
