Janie Garner is founder and executive director of Show Me Your Stethoscope (SMYS), with over 650,000 listeners. SMYS is a Grassroots nursing organization committed to Connecting, Engaging, and Advocating for the healthcare profession through unity. Just a few of their accomplishments include: Rally for Safe Nurse to Patient Ratios in Washington DC, 2016, Nebulizers for Bangladesh, Mission Trip to Ghana, Mission and Trip to Haiti. Janie is a Staff Electrophysiology Nurse with Department of Veterans Affairs for almost 7 years and worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse for over 6 years. She graduated from St. Louis Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
