Dr. Desiree Beekharry
Dr. Marie Desiree Beekharry holds a Doctor of Project Management (DPM). Following a 25yr career in project and event management in several countries she dedicated herself to her professional passions and expertise: Project Management, Disaster Management and Risk. She currently works for the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, and manages a program of over 50 research projects in natural hazards. Desiree is also a tutor and supervisor for the Master of Project Management Program at the University of South Australia. An experienced facilitator, presenter and Conflict Mgmt trainer, she is also a qualified and experienced English and French teacher.
