Carey Wong
Carey Wong currently serves as Chief Counsel at Child Advocates. She has her undergraduate from Depauw University and a JD from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. She started her career as an attorney at the Indiana Department of Child Services handling primarily Child in Need of Services and Termination of Parental Rights cases and then moved on to become the Chief Counsel of the Marion County Office of DCS. Since 2011, she has continued her career in child welfare at Child Advocates, a nonprofit agency providing GAL/CASA services to children in the welfare system in Marion County, Indiana. She regularly presents trainings for attorneys, GALs and community members. She has presented at State and National Conferences. She is a member of Indiana Chapter of AFCC, the National Association of Counsel for Children, the IBA, ISBA and ABA.
