Bolu Adefemi

Bolu Adefemi is a 13 years old, internationally renowned Canadian singer- songwriter who has appeared in media around the world. She is the 2020 Award Winner of the Universal Women's Network: Women of Inspiration Youth Excellence Award, and a 2020 The Ideal Me Humanitarian Award nominee. She uses her platform to better local communities and has performed at the Toronto Caribbean Festival, been invited to perform at BLM events, asked to perform for the Canadian online launch party of a new book to inspire children to activism by Angela Sadler-Williamson, the cousin of Rosa Parks. About her musical journey, Bolu says, "When I play music I experience joy, connection and relaxation" - something that all of us could use a little more of in these difficult times.
