Markus Wiederstein, Managing Director/ CEO/Founder POLARIXPARTNER, has more than 17 years' experience as a consultant to the automotive / transportation industry. Markus has expertise in aerospace, medical/High-Tech, commercial vehicles. Before founding POLARIXPARTNER in 2011, Markus was Country Managing Partner for Germany with UK-based PA Consulting. His career has focused on driving value for clients using restructuring and efficiency initiatives, managing and implementing worldwide cost-reduction initiatives, purchasing optimization, and Design to Cost efforts. His vision has driven POLARIXPARTNER to become a leading presence in the automotive industry. Markus has successfully implemented a range of cost reduction and target costs projects for leading manufacturers and suppliers in automotive and other manufacturing industries. Recent activities include product and cost optimization for new E-Mobility, autonomous driving, connected vehicles, and CO2 Footprint reporting.
