Holly Avocato
My name is Holly Noel Avocato and I am 14 years old. I am currently in 8th grade at Harry Hurst Middle School. I have been a Hurst Cheerleader for the last 3 years and this year I am leading my team as Captain. I will be entering Destrehan High school in the fall where I will continue cheering as a Destrehan Wildcat. I am also involved in the Service Club and Wetland Watchers. I have been on the Beta Club for the last 2 years and I am currently holding a 3.8 GPA. I have been nominated for Student of the year for my 5th and 8th Grade years. In my spare time after school, I do competitive Dance. I hold many titles as a soloist in several different competitions. I love going to the studio and teaching the love of dance to the younger students. Just watching them grow from year to year and see their hearts smile when they dance I know I am making a difference.
