Laila Gurley
Hi, my name is Laila Gurley and I am a student at Harry Hurst Middle School. I’m in 8th grade and have been attending Hurst since 6th grade. I have been doing Hurst cheer for 2 years and just made the Destrehan High School cheer team as well. I also have been dancing for 12 years at my studio and do track at her Hurst too. I love science and interacting with animals and reptiles. That’s why I joined Wetland Watchers. It’s very fun and educates well on the wetlands and the many animals that live in it. I am also attending Swamp School this summer and am looking forward to it.
