Henk Meeter
Henry “Henk” Meeter is the Variant Configuration Lead at Echelon Solutions Group, an SAP partner and implementer. He has been in the IT Industry for more than forty years, on both sides of the Atlantic. His earlier years were spent in the Book Publishing and Office Furniture industries in Michigan; but then, halfway through his career, and having found his passion, he moved to IT, focusing on product, systems, and solution configuration development and implementation. As an SAP customer and first secretary of the Configuration Work Group, an organization for which he served as President, and which has since grown to more than 500 member companies and over 6,500 members, he wrote the Requirements Document for SAP's early Sales Configurator Engine. As a consultant living in Germany, he led SAP's development effort to extend and optimize that engine into what is now at the heart of SAP's Solution Configurator offering. Since then, he has spent many years implementing it in different customer scenarios.
