Tom Cataldo

Tom Cataldo is currently the Founder and CEO of the Better Vision for Children Foundation located in Southern CA. His exploits include constructing crystal radio sets in his garage at a young age. The innovation of the "Walkie Talkie" which was indispensable during World War II. He also at the young age of 17 became a member of an elite team of engineers at MIT that developed a navigational radio oriented technology that implemented in the US Navy, Merchant Marine, the Eighth Air Force and US Submarine Pacific Fleet. During his post war years Tom was involved in the General Electric contract that restored electrical power to Japan. After this Tom founded a technology to serve the Senior Community known as Medic Alert and it was purported to have saved millions of Seniors from climatic incidents. Tom now at the age of 95 has been laboring for now over 30 years to bring forth a test kit to significantly reduce children's eye disease and life threatening optical cancers. Tom is a World War II Veteran, an accomplished engineer, entrerpreneur and a man who is still working to meet "unmet needs" in our world today.
