Hon. Blanquita Cullum

The Hon. Blanquita Cullum is the host of a daily radio show, The Hard Question, which is heard on WCGO AM/FM, Smart Talk Radio Network and Apple podcasts. Recently inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, she was the 2020 recipient of the “Sammy” Award for her contributions as a trailblazing female broadcaster. She was nominated, senate confirmed and served for eight years during the George W. Bush administration as the first Hispanic female governor on the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Her work has garnered multiple awards, including being named one of the “Top 25 Talk Hosts” by USA Today and honored as a champion of media by the Multicultural Media Association at the National Press Club. Cullum, the former president of the National Association of Radio Talk Show, has appeared on nearly every major television and radio show in the nation. Cullum is a co-founder of Voices Against Trafficking. She is the proud mother of two children and grandmother to four.
