John
John is married and the father of two young children. He endured a 20 year battle with opioids, beginning with Oxycontin following a high school sports injury, which later progressed to a heroin addiction. Inpatient and outpatient treatment and medication management are all part of his story, as are multiple relapses. He never gave up. John celebrates 4 years of recovery this month, June 2021.
