Peter Amara
LTC Peter Amara was raised in Sierra Leon and studied at the Government Secondary School. Upon his graduation, he immigrated to the United States in 1993 and joined the U. S. Army as an Enlisted Cannon Crew Member. LTC Amara continued to serve and was invited to attend the Wisconsin Military Academy and became commissioned in 2000 as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery Branch. After 11 years and counting, LTC Amara serves with demonstrated trust, leadership, and compassion. His greatest education accomplishments include a BA in Political Science, and two MBA degrees in Procurement and Acquisition Management and Business Administration along with a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration. We salute Peter Amara for his many service awards to include his heart for voluntarism.
