Melanie Lentz

Melanie Lentz

Melanie Lentz became a Secret Service agent at twenty-two, one of the youngest females ever hired. She spent nine years as an agent in Los Angeles and left in 2016 to start fresh after her personal life fell apart. She is the author of Agent Innocent: How the Secret Service Changed My Life (2019) and Advance Work: A Personal Protection Assignment 7-Day Workbook (2021). Today, she writes and speaks about the life lessons she learned as an agent and finds passion in sharing how protecting others showed her how to protect herself, inside and out. She finds her creative juices flow best in the middle of the night with a fancy new pen and her dogs cuddled around her. In her spare time, she works in the fitness industry and pretends she’s handy with DIY home improvement projects. She’s an unapologetic introvert with a hint of comedian and a dash of fashionista. www.melanielentz.com
