My name is Merrick and I am an alcoholic. My sobriety date is 3/9/19. I'm 27 years old. I lived a lifetime of drugs and alcohol in just a few short years. I managed to collect an Aggravated DWI charge and Probation Violation along the way. I found myself in and out of outpatient treatment centers 3, maybe 4 times, until I went to inpatient treatment for 30 days on 3/9/19 and have miraculously been sober since. I work in education as well as in fitness/personal training on the side, but when I'm not working, I enjoy spending my time with family, golfing, and lifting weights. I have many other interests and I learned early on the only thing I can't do is drink, and I try to remember and live by that every day.
