Monica Biscoe
Monica Biscoe is a media professional that has spent most of her career smashing through the glass ceiling. She started her media career in radio as an intern for the Morning Show with Robin Breedon at WPGC 95.5FM. Building on her broadcast foundation, she mastered radio promotions & research and she went on to work for Donnie Simpson (WPGC 95.5), Jeannie Jones (WKYS 93.9), and Natalie Case (WMMJ 102.3). Ms. Biscoe’s career path has taken her to Westwood One, Turner Broadcasting Network, UPN 20, The CW (formerly The WB), NBC 4, Radio One. Monica was the Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Economic Development for MD Strategic Consulting, a public affairs firm that specializes in strategic planning for government agencies, non-profits, corporate leaders, and community developers. Currently, she serves as Vice President for VSJ, Inc., an award-winning communications firm that provides PR, media relations and crisis management to organizations around the region. She provides executive branding, communications strategy, media relations, and marcomm services to regional and national clients across the globe. Over the course of her career, she has hosted radio shows, provided voiceovers for national media outlets, served as a ghost writer for media blogs, and runs her own social media platform, “Adventures of the PR Chic.”
