Evan Frazier

Evan Frazier, President, and CEO of The Advanced Leadership Institute, since March 2021, has guided the mission of The Advanced Leadership Institute to educate, develop, connect, and position African American leaders for executive advancement. Frazier's early vision led to the formation of The Advanced Leadership Initiative (TALI) in 2018, focusing on building a pipeline of talented African American leaders in Pittsburgh. With Frazier as founding director, the initiative partnered with Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business to develop a signature program, the Executive Leadership Academy. This program provides the tools, exposure, and training to prepare African Americans to contribute to their organizations — and the community. Building on the success of TALI, Frazier led the strategic expansion of the organization from Initiative to Institute by extending the executive development programs to impact African American leaders locally and nationally. Before joining The Advanced Leadership Institute, Frazier served as Senior Vice President of Community Affairs at Highmark Health. Prior to Highmark, Frazier served as President and CEO of the Hill House Association for 6 years and was also CEO of the Hill House Economic Development Corporation among other notable positions. Frazier has served on more than 30 civic boards and has received numerous national and local awards for his accomplishments, including distinguished White House recognition.
