BFA School of Visual Arts, MSE Hunter College, LP Candidate at The Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy. NYS Public School Licensed Art Teacher Grades K-12, Licensed Elementary School Teacher Grades Pre-K - 6. Trained in Waldorf Education, Pedagogy and Human Development in Anthroposophy. I was drawn to Gestalt therapy because of its phenomenological and experiential approach which have their roots in Goethe's scientific work, the very work that informed Rudolf Steiner's Spiritual Science of Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education. Working as a therapist I find it an exciting premise to explore the "here and now" as Fritz Perls emphasized. Exploring what is present always leads me on an informative journey into the person's past, to their beliefs, imaginings, and their unfinished business, all of which can interfere with, or strengthen their ability to feel free and live out their dreams and desires in this life. "Imbue thyself with the power of imagination, have courage for the truth and deepen thy responsibility for Soul" Rudolf Steiner
