Carrie is a global healthcare and technology leader, with expertise in the consumer health and a track record of building and growing technology and mission driven businesses. Before joining Simple Health as Chief Executive Officer in 2020, She spent over 20 years transforming companies, strategic and financial excellence all with a focus on the bottom line. Carrie spent over 10 years with various leading brands in consumer hygiene, health, and nutrition. Carrie moved to Toronto in 2016 to join Medcan Health Management, a global healthcare leader as Vice President of Strategy and Operations. Her portfolio consisted of Fitness, Nutrition, Weight Management, Sports Medicine, and Mental Health. She led the operations and strategy for her portfolio as well as a key member of the executive team. During this time, she realized digitization and personalization of health care was the future and was a key member of the digital transformation team at Medcan. She is passionate about the identification, mentoring, and development of a diverse pool of talent, ready to disrupt today’s Female Tech Healthcare system and build a inclusive roadmap to healthcare access. She has dedicated her career to driving the future of wellness and health with a variety of brands. Carrie has earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
