Charles Dellheim

Charles Dellheim is the son of a German Jewish refugee, who was born and raised in New York City. Professor of History at Boston University and founding director if its Arvind and Chandan Nandlal Kilachand Honors College, he earned his doctorate at Yale University in Modern European Cultural History and has held fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Harvard University Business School, and the University of Pennsylvanias Center for Advanced Judaic Studies. His new book is Belonging and Betrayal: How Jews Made the Art World Modern.
