Rev. Stanley A. Williams, III is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina.Born to preaching, pastoring parents, Rev. Stan is but one in a long line of ministers in his family that spans several generations. Rev. Williams is an alum of Duke University, in Durham, NC, where he received his Bachelors degree in Psychology and African AfricanAmerican Studies. He also received his Masters of Divinity from Duke University in 2009.Rev. Williams was licensed to preach in April 2008, ordained as Reverend in January 2012, and installed as Assistant Pastor in December 2014 at Zion Temple United Church of Christ in Durham, NC, where the Senior Pastor is the Rev. Cheryl D. Moore. In August 2021, Rev. Stan was afforded an opportunity to preach for Princeton University Chapel as a part of its summer series, and he will sing as part of a Carnegie Hall worldpremiere of a choral piece in June 2022.Rev. Williams loves God, wants Gods best for Gods people, and prays that they always find it true that God is both real and relevant to their everyday lives.At the end of the day, he is just grateful to celebrate and proclaim the power and goodness of God among those that were once in the eyes of some not worthy to be considered as people, but now realize that God has chosen them and called them Gods very own.
