Laura M. LaVoie
Laura M. LaVoie is the childfree half of The NotMom team. She is a freelance writer living in Asheville, North Carolina, with her partner Matt and their Devon Rex cat, Toast. Most of her professional work is blog writing and content creation for small businesses and marketing companies. She's also been a part of the tiny house movement since building a 120 square foot home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She blogged about her experience and has spoken at tiny house events all over the county. Laura is the author of several non-fiction books available on Amazon: 120 Ideas for Tiny Living, Life in 120 Square Feet: The Essays, Your Job Search, and How to Drink Craft Beer. She is currently working on three novels in various revision stages, all featuring childfree characters and storylines. Laura enjoys traveling, tiki bars, craft beer, general geekery, musicals, TV shows, and costuming at pop-culture conventions.
