Linda Benjamin

Linda Benjamin has been a clinical social worker for over thirty years. She was Supervisor of Program Development at WNET/Thirteen in New York. She hosted a live radio program in New York City, "Good Connections," where she featured mental health professionals and call-in questioners. She moved to Milwaukee for a psychotherapy practice. Once there, she started to read her essays on WUWM, the local NPR affiliate, and then produced Psychobabble, a collection of the essays, which she read on the air. Linda has published articles in The New York Times, Chicago Woman and The Woman's Newspaper of Princeton. She has a long-time partner and two grown sons, daughters-in-law, and a grandson. One of her sons lives in France and she visits there as often as she can.
